In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Beef and Boards	This committee is responsible for organizing and selling tickets to the Beef & Boards presentation. Time commitment is approximately 8-9 months. This is our main fundraising project to raise money for our selected charities.
Board of Directors
Character Counts Program	This committee is responsible for communicating with student counselors at Lawrence North and Lawrence Central High School about the club's Character Recognition Program; selecting candidates; and arranging club presentations during the school year. Time commitment is 6-7 months.

Christmas Family	Coordinate gathering of gifts and food for a needy family for Christmas
Crestview Tutoring	This committee is responsible for organizing tutoring sessions at Crestview Elementary School and encouraging members to volunteer their time to tutor during the day or evenings. Time commitment is approximately 9 months (school year).
Lawrence Early College Tutor	This committee is responsible for organizing tutors and mentors for students in the Lawrence Early College.
Light their Future Project	This committee works with the MSD Lawrence Township Foundation to collect lamps, light bulbs, alarm clocks, and other items to facilitate the studies of disadvantage children. Time commitment is a couple of hours within a two-week period of the year.
Meals on Wheels	This committee is responsible for coordinating the delivery of meals to people around the Castleton area. The committee shall also coordinate training new persons interested in delivering meals. Time commitment is 1 year.
Riley Hospital Neonatal ICU Help Desk	This committee volunteer’s time to man the help desk at Riley Hospital for Children usually about three hours in the evening. Training is available. Time commitment is 1 year.
Ronald McDonald House Pull Tabs	This committee collects pull-tabs from aluminum cans to fund Ronald McDonald House where parents of children at Riley Hospital can stay. Time commitment is 1 year.
Scholarship Award	This committee is responsible for soliciting scholarship applications from Lawrence North and Lawrence Central High Schools. This committee shall review applications and submit them to Kiwanis Indiana District for selection. The committee will also recommend the award of the Club’s scholarship and arrange for its presentation.
Shadeland Cleanup	This committee is responsible for organizing the Shadeland cleanup at least one time each year. The committee should consider asking a Key Club to participate in the cleanup. Time commitment is approximately 2 months.
St. Mary's Child Center	This committee visits St. Mary’s Child Center and volunteers time to read to the children. Time commitment is 1 year.
